Course Description:
If you are an amateur film maker, want to get into broadcasting, or just want to know how to create an awesome media presentation, Advanced Audio/Video Production is the class for you. This full year course will teach you how to make videos like the professions do on industry standard software and filming equipment. This course offers opportunities to compete nationally in competitive video events for scholarships and get adobe certified. Students can learn how to make videos on green screen and master special effects that will bring your imagination to a visual reality. Video projects, as well as activities building critical employability and 21st Century skills, are integrated throughout to prepare today’s students for the workplace.

Green Screen Assignment - create 3 short green screen scenes (total of 30 seconds or less EACH). You may share the green screen video with a partner but you need to come up with different backgrounds.
Silent Film Assignment - create a (30 to 60 seconds) video that uses no dialogue to tell a story. You may use sound effects, music, and expressive movements to tell the story. MUST DO A SHOT LIST INSTEAD OF SCRIPT
About-Me "Mini-documentary" video - Create a mini-documentary about “a day in your life.” Take a video camera around school and have your friends talk about current trends and things going on. Take the video camera home and video your family and room.
Music Video - Choose a song and create a music video providing a visual to the lyrics of the song. You can have actors lip-sync or just act out the lyrics. Must submit lyrics for approval before you begin.Must be "Clean Version"
