Overview & Objectives:
We will..... learn and apply the video produduction processes of pre-production, production, and post-production.
Behavior:
We will... actively participate, listen, follow studio rules, and stay on task. Cel phones will be put away or can be charging at the charging station.

Engaging Activity(Warm-up):
  • Find seat according to Seating Charts
  • Log on to Google Classroom to see todays Objectives.
  • Check Skyward for DUE DATEs and current grades.
Lecture:
  • Return signed Student Driving Release, Equipment Usage Form, & Parent Contact Slips. Return $30 Class fees. Overdue
  • Don't forget BPA dues are due by October 17. Please decide on which events you want to compete in. Everyone is strongly encouraged to join.
  • Continue the On-Demand Video Assignment - State Fair Video Challenge - Today, we will be filming at the Fair
    • Receive Line of Dialogue and Props from teacher at beginning of class on DAY 1.
      Brainstorm, Write your teams story, script, and shot list for the 60 second video to be filmed at the State Fair Field Trip.
      • Select Equipment for your team to use at the State Fair
    • DAY 2: Arrive at the TEC by 8:15 a.m. The bus will leave at 8:30. Be sure that you have your teams script, shot list, and need equipment. Be sure that you wear your MSEB t-shirt. At the fair, your team will film your video.
      Teams will receive a 30 point penalty for videos over 60 seconds or turned in late.
      Be sure that every second counts. Try to create an interesting and entertaining story with structure (Intro, Middle, End). *****Copyrighted materials may NOT be used***** When filming, do not disturb others around you and let adults know if you are filming anything that is loud or distracting. Ask permission if you are not sure. Do not leave the Fair Grounds
    • Upload the finished video and documentation to Google Classroom by the end of class on DAY 3.
    • NOTE: Be sure you get a copy of the On-Demand Documentation template to save time and help with your required documentation. Additional directions and resources are on Google Classroom and my website.
  • Ongoing: Continue the Interview Assignment for AVP2 and the News Package Assignment for Practicum.
  • Continue completing the 2nd SIX WEEKS PRODUCTION/WORK ETHICS SCHEDULE - must keep a daily log of activities in this class. This counts towards your participation grade.

  • Sign up for BPA and/or TSA, pay dues. Let Mr. C know if you are interested in UIL film
  • DUE DATE: Check Skyward for current DUE DATE(s)
Individual Learning:
  • Login to GMetrix. From the “Start a Test” screen, type your access code provide on your sheet into the “Enter a New Access code” field and click next. Choose Training, Premiere Practice test 1. Practice the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 Certification questions.
