Advanced Audio/Video Production

Overview & Objectives:
We will..... learn and apply the video produduction processes of pre-production, production, and post-production.
Behavior:
We will... actively participate, listen, follow studio rules, and stay on task. Cel phones will be put away or can be charging at the charging station.

Engaging Activity(Warm-up):
  • Find seat according to Seating Charts
  • Log on to Google Classroom to see todays Objectives.
  • Check Skyward for DUE DATEs and current grades.
Lecture:
  • BPA Groups - Be sure that your are coordinating with your team members and keeping up with your set schedules.
    • BPA meeting on Thursday, Nov. 7 at MHS in K11.
  • Complete the Movie Night Interest form on Google Classroom.
  • Broadcasting - Today is Show Day! Everyone will be working at their roles to insure that the show is completed with quality.
    • TEACHER - Load teleprompter script into teleprompter. Print scripts for cast and crew. Load media files needed for episode.
    • Anchors - Read over new scripts, do sound checks. Be sure that you are dressed for the part.
    • Floor Director - Turn on Lights, TV, check to make sure that anchors are in frame on cameras. Initiate sound checks. Be sure no one moves the cameras.
    • Technical Director - Test all control settings. Make sure all media files listed on script are accessible and when they are listed to be.
    • Director - Make sure that the Green Screen effects, camera framing, and M/E settings are correct in the Tricaster. Save the session according to script directions.
    • Teleprompter - be sure new script is loaded and formated to be ready for the show. Create shortcut to line 1. Be sure to save after you change settings.
    • Sound Board - be sure that mics are working and sound is at even levels.
    • ALL - once everyone is ready, we will practice until we are confident enough to record. We will then record as many times as needed until the show is completed according to the script. Everyone is to act professional and be helping out as needed.
  • Continue the 3rd SIX WEEKS PRODUCTION/WORK ETHICS SCHEDULE - must keep a daily log of activities in this class. This counts towards your participation grade.

  • DUE DATE: Check Skyward for current DUE DATE(s)
Individual Learning:
  • Login to GMetrix. From the “Start a Test” screen, type your access code provide on your sheet into the “Enter a New Access code” field and click next. Choose Training, Premiere Practice test 1. Practice the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 Certification questions.
