Overview & Objectives:
We will..... learn and apply the video produduction processes of pre-production, production, and post-production.
Behavior:
We will... actively participate, listen, follow studio rules, and stay on task. Cel phones will be put away or can be charging at the charging station.

Engaging Activity(Warm-up):
  • Find seat according to Seating Charts
  • Log on to Google Classroom to see todays Objectives.
  • Check Skyward for DUE DATEs and current grades.
Lecture:
  • TSA Students - Let me know if you are not going to participate in On-Demand Video on Feb 19-20. Digital Video Production - I need your finished documentation and video. Storyboard, script, works cited.
  • BPA News Team - Pre-Submits were 2/10. Be sure to start preparing your presentations
  • If you film during class, be sure to sign out and bring your AAVP Lanyard.

Team Project: Introduce & Discuss:

  • Film Festival Assignment: (DAY 9 of 9) This six weeks, you will plan, shoot, and edit a large video project that will be eligable for the Mesquite ISD Film Festival. EVERYTHING IS DUE TODAY! be sure you add the MSEB End credits Template at the end of your video.
    • Post Production - Finish Editing Videos and Documentation.
    • Finish Pre-production documents (Storyboard, Shot List, Story Clock, Screenplay)- PAST DUE
    • Be sure your are keeping up with your documentation daily - Plan of Work Log & Shot List
    • Recommendations: Keep up with documentation daily, shoot with 2 cameras, follow pre-production planning, use correct audio equipment and methods, use appropriate lighting, choose the correct lenses for your shots, try challenging yourselves on cinematography.
  • Discuss TSA Competitions for next week.

Lecture:

  • Discuss upcoming Contests
    • TSA = Feb 19-21, 2020. On-Demand Video & Digital Video Production(Mystery Film)
    • BPA State - March 4-7 at the Sheraton in Dalls. Broadcast News Team. Pre-submits 2/10/20.
    • Film Festival (4/20/20) - Projects are due February 15 for a grade. Entries are Due March 20, 2020.
