Free Play Music - www.freeplaymusic.com - This is a website that offers background music that are search-able by categories and already cut in 3 min, 1 min, 30 sec, 15 sec time increments. All music is copyright free for educational purposes, but be sure to always check the sites terms of use and copyrights.
Soundz Abound - www.soundzabound.com - This is a Royalty Free Music site for Schools. Mesquite ISD has purchased rights for the use of this site. It includes search-able categories of sound clips and music. Username: mesquite Password: schools
Garageband - This is apart of the Apple ILife software package. There are 100s of sound loops, instruments, and sound effects that can be exported as an MP3 to be used in your video project. Be sure to always reference this as a source in all projects.
Final Cut Pro - you can use the Voice Over function in FCP to create the voice over needed for video projects. Voice Over can be activate using the shortcut - Option - 0, or by clicking Tools > Voice Over.
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 - you can use the Voice Over function in FCP to create the voice over needed for video projects.
Adobe Audition - This is the perfect software for importing sound effects, music, and audio to mix and create audio for projects.
